ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WKRG) — A young girl received a big gift through the Make-A-Wish Foundation in connection with The Wharf in Orange Beach.
Ada Bailey's one wish was to have a pontoon boat, which is exactly what she received on Saturday.
The Wharf donated $28,500 to Make-A-Wish, making Ada's wish possible.
"This is our fifth year to do this. And the Wharf loves to give back to the community. So, there is nothing better than being able to partner with Make-A-Wish to make a child's wish come true that is struggling with a terminal illness," said Special Events Coordinator at The Wharf, Lindsey Pearce.
Ada has already named her boat, "See Ya L'Ada."
