LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The last 24 hours have been busy for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

"It's been a difficult start, for sure," said Mark Fuller, who is a Razorback fan.

On Sunday afternoon, Arkansas athletic officials announced the release of head coach Sam Pittman .

For the time being, former head coach and current offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino will fill the role as interim head coach.

It's a move that has had fans talking, as seen at Monday's Little Rock Touchdown Club, where many didn't hold back on expressing their feelings.

"[I'm] disappointed. You know, for Sam, I think he's a great man, as far as a human being. He's an honorable man, and he did the best he could. And, you know, sad for him, but it's time to move on," Fuller said.
