GRETNA, La. (WGNO) — The 31st annual Gretna Fest is this upcoming weekend. Performers like Sam Hunt, Collective Soul, Trombone Shorty, Amanda Shaw and Nastasha Bedingfield will all take the stage.

To go along with all the great music and food, WGNO's Kenny Lopez met the poster artists and has the story.

Steffon Lee and Deisree Buisson Lee are the owners and artists of the business, "504 Funk," and they are now this year's Gretna Fest poster artists.

"I was over the moon and it was an honor. We've been trying for a long time," Steffon Lee said.

"There were immediate tears, and I was overwhelmed," Desiree Buisson Lee said.

The couple met years ago in art school and have continued to paint together like they did for this year's poster called, "Gretna: Where The Music Sinks In."
