LynLake Brewery has announced it will close its doors at the end of this week.

The brewery at 2934 Lyndale Avenue South confirmed its last day of service will be this Sunday, Oct. 5.

"We are deeply saddened to announce we will be closing our doors permanently at the end of the week. Thank you for 11 years," a post from the business reads.

"Come have one last beer with us and enjoy daily specials throughout the week," it continues, added: "We love you Minneapolis."

It marks the latest blow for the beer scene in the Lyn-Lake neighborhood, which in the past five years lost The Herkimer, a 20-year mainstay in the area, as well as the Iron Door Pub, which closed earlier this year.
