WALKER COUNTY, Ala. —

Cleanup efforts are underway in Walker County after a train derailment occurred over the weekend.

Officials with Norfolk Southern said this happened about 4 a.m. Sunday in the Parrish area.

The company said 23 railcars were involved, but there weren't any injuries or hazardous materials spilled as a result.

The cause of the derailment is still under investigation.
