MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- It only took seconds for thieves to steal a 2024 Nissan from a Midtown home, but thanks to GPS tracking, police found the car just hours later, along with several other stolen vehicles.

A Nissan Altima was taken early Sunday morning on Blythe Avenue. The victim did not want to be identified but said she heard her car alarm go off and watched as the suspects drove away in her car.

"I looked outside and someone pulled up close to it, and I thought they must've just bumped it, and I just grabbed my key fob and turned the alarm off, opened my door. I almost stepped out, but thank goodness I didn't, and then I took a step back. I said they're stealing my car, so I switched the alarm back on, you know, where it would make all that noise.
