SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. — A popular fast food chain, Whataburger, may soon open a new location in Sevierville, replacing a former Steak 'n Shake on the Parkway.

The Sevierville Planning Commission is scheduled to review the proposed site plan during its meeting on Thursday.

The chain already operates a location on Cumberland Avenue near the University of Tennessee’s campus, and another is in the works on Emory Road.

City officials have not yet confirmed which fast food chain is planning the move.
