CONCORD — East Rowan battled at Northwest Cabarrus, but the Trojans pulled away for a 35-7 South Piedmont Confernence victory on a weather-plagued Friday.

All the area games experienced delays for lightning and rain, with the exception of the A.L. Brown-Berry game. That one was postponed.
