A rizona has seen a consistent increase in high school students getting a head start on college in dual enrollment programs.

The latest data from the Arizona State System for Information on Student Transfer shows that participation grew by more than 10,000 students from the 2018-2019 school year to 2023-2024, the latest year available.

A team from the Arizona State University Helios Decision Center for Educational Excellence recently presented the data and their analysis the Arizona State Board of Education.

The data showed positive results, but also revealed some areas for improvement.
