Fire breaks out in historic Downtown movie theater's basement
Emergency crews responded to a fire this morning that broke out in the basement of the historic Cine Curto building. The sub-director of the Mexicali Fire Department, Ignacio Lozoya, confirmed that the blaze started in the lower level, where tables and chairs are stored.
According to news media outlet reports, firefighters are actively working at the scene, with efforts focused on ventilating the area and removing smoke through the back of the establishment.
