CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Bengals fell to the Denver Broncos 28-3 before a national audience on Monday Night Football.
It was the Bengals’ second blowout loss in a row, and it comes after a promising start to the season: Two winning games despite the loss of star quarterback Joe Burrow to a toe injury in Week 2.
The Bengals didn’t even score a touchdown Monday night and have now been outscored 76-13 in the last two weeks.
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was visibly frustrated.
“It’s hard, knowing the type of offense we have and the weapons we have,” he said.
The Bengals racked up a whopping 11 penalties against the Broncos.
