The 41st annual Apple Harvest Day in Dover will take place on Oct. 4, featuring 300 vendors and live entertainment.

A major change this year is that remote parking and shuttle service will be exclusively at the former Liberty Mutual campus.

The festival includes a 5k road race, an apple pie baking contest, and numerous family-friendly activities.

DOVER — The 41st annual Apple Harvest Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the heart of downtown , offering food, fun activities, 300 vendors and entertainment.

"It's just a great community event," said Doug Glennon, local merchant and co-owner of Jewelry Creations .

"It's one of the biggest events on the Seacoast," said Margaret Joyce, president of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce .
