Over 70 Nevada Union High School students, representing a variety of clubs and sports teams, and a half dozen coaches joined Gold Country Senior Services firewood distribution team on Saturday in loading and delivering firewood to area seniors.

The next distribution dates are October 4 and November 1. Gold Country Senior Services especially needs volunteers with flatbed trucks to help deliver loads across the county.
