Mark Halperin unloaded on author Ta-Nehisi Coates for “talking bullsh*t” about Charlie Kirk after the author doubled down in trashing the assassinated conservative activist as a “hatemonger” in a podcast sitdown with columnist Ezra Klein .

Coates was interviewed on on Sunday, when he sparred with Klein. Coates had written a rebuttal in challenging Klein’s column that it was possible as a liberal to disagree with Kirk’s views but appreciate his willingness to engage in the “larger shared project” of open debate.
