CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - A man who was found guilty of kidnapping and raping two women in 2023 has been sentenced to prison, the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday.

Last month, 31-year-old Julio Cesar Escamilla-Ramos was convicted of two counts of first-degree kidnapping, two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, and first-degree sodomy.

Escamilla-Ramos was sentenced Monday to 400 months (just over 33 years) in prison.

The district attorney’s office says the crimes happened two years ago.
