EMORY, Va. (WJHL) — Emory & Henry will lower its undergraduate tuition by 50% in an effort to attract more students to the university.

The university announced on Tuesday that, starting in Fall 2026, Emory & Henry's undergraduate tuition will be reduced to $19,990 per academic year, down from $39,975.

Multiple scholarship opportunities and need-based financial aid will still be offered, according to Emory & Henry.

"We know that cost is a major factor when students and their families are deciding where to invest in higher education, and many times students make decisions on whether to explore schools based on published price alone, not knowing the actual cost to attend can often be much lower," Emory & Henry University President Dr. Lou Fincher said in a release.
