STRONGSVILLE, Ohio

License plate blues, Bonnie Lane: On Sept. 6, a Bonnie Lane resident came to the police station about an ongoing issue.

The man said this spring he sold his truck but forgot to take off the license plate.

Not only does the new owner continue to adorn the plate on the truck, but he’s been racking up Ohio Turnpike tickets.

The resident did eventually deregister the plate with the BMV, but the new owner still refused to return the license plate.

The officer told the man it was a civil matter.

Dog bite, Rudy Drive: On Sept. 6, an Amazon driver came to the police station to report a dog-bite incident.

An officer talked to the Parma man, who said while making a delivery at a Rudy Drive home the day before a dog attacked.

The bite above the knee did break skin.
