'I don't want a divided community' says pub landlord after England flags pulled down View 3 Images

A pub landlord in South Bristol has described two men caught on the pub’s CCTV pulling down its famous display of England flags as ‘idiots’. Sean Donnelly, the landlord of the Three Lions pub in Bedminster posted images from the CCTV the morning after the incident, which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The pub in West Street is well known as a Bristol City and England football pub, and has had England flags and huge banners on its frontage for almost 30 years. It is the setting for the annual ‘Flag Day’, which sees Bristol City fans traditionally come together in a raucous display to celebrate the start of the football season every August.
