CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Charleston County deputies say a mother and son who posed as housekeepers and pet sitters to steal valuables now face charges.

Dana Cooley, 56, was charged with accessory after the fact to a felony and her son, James Austin Cooley, 34, was charged with first-degree burglary, grand larceny of a value between $2,000 and $10,000, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and use of a vehicle without permission, according to jail records.

Dana Cooley was released after posting a $30,000 bail, but James Austin Cooley remained in jail as of Tuesday morning after a judge set a total bond of $60,000 on the charges he faces.
