Judith K. “Judy” Ehnert, of Devils Lake formerly of Maddock, ND, passed away on Saturday, Sep. 20, 2025, at Eventide Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake at the age of 70 years.

Judith Kay Ehnert, one of seven children, was born on May 16, 1955, in Maddock to Charles and Wilma (Lalum) Ehnert She grew up in the Maddock area, attended Maddock Public School and graduated from Maddock High School (Bobcats) with the class of 1973. At an incredibly young age (3), Judy was a cheerleader for the Benson County Aggies. In high school she worked for Sabbe Flying Service, as a flagger for their aerial crop spraying business. After high school, Judy attended SSS (State School of Science) in Wahpeton, graduating as a certified dental hygienist in 1975.
