BROOKFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) - Crews are on the scene of an emergency plane landing in Brookfield.

It happened in the area of Merwin Chase and Albright McKay roads.

According to Brookfield Police Chief Aaron Kasiewicz, a single plane ran out of gas and picked the best field for an emergency landing. He said it was a rough landing, but there were no injuries or damage.

A person living in the area reported hearing the plane fly over his house, saying it sounded like the motor was cutting out.

The State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.

The Highway Patrol, Brookfield and Vienna Fire departments, and the Western Reserve Port Authority are on the scene.
