KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — The restrooms at Jaycee Park in Kentwood will be closed for the rest of the year following an act of vandalism this weekend, the city says.

The restrooms at Jaycee Park on Gentian Drive sustained “significant damage” this weekend, according to a Facebook post made by the Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department.

This is not the first time the city’s parks have sustained vandalism damage, but the department hopes increased security measures will deter future crime and assist police in their investigations.
