KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Charges have been filed against a man accused of shooting the bouncer at a Kansas City bar and creating mass panic before he was shot himself.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Sunday, Sept. 28, indicate that Unique A. Cushon, 35, of Kansas City, has been charged in connection with the early-morning shooting.

A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that around 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, emergency crews were called to Jambo Bar & Grill at 9922 Holmes Rd. with reports of a shooting.

When first responders arrived, they said they found the victim, who was later identified as a bouncer at the bar. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
