Cathy Hartman, 65, passed away on September 17 th , 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Cathy was born in Newnan, Georgia, to Gary and Connie Ellinwood. She spent her early years swimming at the Grantville Pool and raising her pet chickens. Cathy married young and had two daughters. She dedicated herself to being a wife and mother, and then later, devoted herself to her grandkids. In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her husband, James Hartman, her oldest child, Holly Hartman, and her sister, Phyllis Stone. Cathy leaves behind her partner, Wesley Byce, her daughter, Brook (Hartman) Payton, her grandchildren, Joshua Jr. and Delilah Payton, and her sibling, Megan Birchfield.
