MADISON (WKOW) — At least eight teenagers were seen on video walking together on the night of a shooting incident near Independence Lane where two of them fired at a car with people inside, according to the criminal complaint.

Bullets fired by the teens struck the rear trunk area of a red Mazda6 and shattered a patio door in the area. The side of a nearby garage was also hit.

Two teenage boys, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, are charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide - as a party to a crime and possession of a firearm by adjudicated delinquent. Charges have also been filed for first-degree recklessly endangering safety - as a party to a crime, use of a dangerous weapon and attempt to operate a motor vehicle without owner's consent - party to a crime.
