The Barrington High School football team fell to 2-2 after losing to Central 37-21 in Providence on Friday night, Sept. 26.
The Eagles held an 8-7 lead in the first half, but struggled to slow down the Knights’ offense. By halftime, Barrington trailed 24-8, said BHS Coach Sandy Gorham.
“Their speed was outstanding. And we just… in the beginning, we weren’t ready for their speed. I think we prepared a little more for the passing game, but they gouged us in the run game,” Gorham said.
Barrington also struggled with tackling, said the coach.
