ATLANTIC CITY — In what Mayor Marty Small Sr. described as a “game changing” opportunity for entrepreneurs, city officials announced Tuesday that food trucks will be permitted to operate at the Gardner’s Basin seawall and O’Donnell Memorial Park beginning later this fall.

“This administration is aggressive when it comes to thinking outside the box, and this is a great opportunity to give our residents more food options and for those looking to launch a business,” Small said. “I’ve already gotten calls from local businesses and people that are interested in this opportunity. This is how we shine a light on our city."

Sixteen spots will be available, with eight at Gardner’s Basin and eight at O’Donnell Park.
