OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Cloud cover has stalled our warming with this afternoon sitting in the upper 70s to low 80s.
This is easily the coolest that we will be through the rest of the week.
As we get more sunshine to break through Wednesday, temps will peak in the upper 80s.
After sunset a stray shower becomes possible; many will stay dry but that chance will remain into the overnight.
We will be dry by Thursday morning and quickly clear out the clouds, setting us on a path for 90 degrees by the afternoon.
More 90s are likely for Friday and Saturday; each day puts us close to the record high as gusty south winds push our temps up.
This will make for a very toasty Husker game Saturday afternoon!
