OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Two weeks from today, a Hy-Vee owned grocery store will close in the Florence area.

Hy-Vee’s Dollar Fresh Market recently began telling customers they’ll be closing, leaving a limited amount of full service grocery options.

“It’s just making healthy food harder to get,” said Rachael Sjn, a Florence resident.

Her husband came home on Monday and told her the grocery store they use multiple times a week, is closing.

Hy-Vee’s Dollar Fresh Market on North 30th Street has been their grocery store for years and Rachael is worried about the community’s access to quality food.
