Ganderbal, Sept 30: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary has announced that the long-pending work on the Guzhama Bridge in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district will begin soon, as the Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been finalised and only administrative approval is awaited.
“The DPR for the Guzhama Bridge is ready. We only need administrative approval now, and the work will start very soon,” Chaudhary told a gathering during his address in Ganderbal.
The Dy CM acknowledged the public’s frustration over the delay. “For the last several years, the much-awaited work on Guzhama Bridge was stuck. I personally visited the site and assured the people that their legitimate demand will be redressed on priority,” he said.
