CLINTON, Tennessee — An Oak Ridge man who shot a woman in 2023 after an argument will serve 48 years in prison.
Anderson County Judge Ryan M. Spitzer imposed sentence Monday on Kevin D. Steen Sr., 60.
Jurors found Steen guilty in June of several counts including attempted voluntary manslaughter, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon.
According to Anderson County District Attorney General Dave Clark's office, Steen shot at a woman after the two got into an argument July 30, 2023.
Clark's office sought consecutive terms and maximum time for Steen.
