UPDATE: Chattanooga police have reopened some lanes on Amnicola Highway following a crash on Tuesday afternoon that shut down the road.

A CPD spokesperson says two southbound lanes and one northbound lane have reopened after being closed between Wisdom Street and Lost Mound.

Police closed a portion of the highway after a wreck involving two vehicles happened in the 3600 block shortly before 2:00pm.

The names and conditions of the people involved have not been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
