HOUSTON – Houston police say a man was found dead in a vacant lot just off the Katy Freeway near The Heights Tuesday morning.

The discovery was made around 7:50 a.m. at 4512 Katy Freeway service road. This is near the intersection of the Katy Freeway and Shepherd Drive.

HPD says they were called to a report of a person down at the address and found the man unresponsive in the lot. Police say he had been stabbed multiple times.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Right now, there are no known suspects or motives in the stabbing.
