GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A job fair held Tuesday at UW-Oshkosh, titled Breaking Barriers, Building Futures, is aimed at helping employers and jobseekers connect.
Part of the event today showcasing the tight labor market with panelists showing how employers can engage jobseekers that were previously incarcerated or may have other barriers to employment, such as mental health challenges or disabilities.
“We want to help companies do better with making sure they’re engaging anyone who’s interested in getting a job, so this is a connection point for them to do just that,” said Bobbi Miller, Business Solutions Manager at Fox Valley Workforce Development Board, Inc.
