September ends, but the warm and quiet pattern does not. We're definitely stuck in a "wash, rinse, repeat" mode of weather. Most of this is thanks to a lack of rain triggers and an overall lack of moisture in the atmosphere.
As we turn the page to October, we'll find this dry combo continuing. Wednesday will start with comfy cool morning temperatures that will heat up quickly under mostly sunny skies. Look for afternoon temperatures to creep a bit higher with mid to upper 80s expected.
We'll toss in a chance for an isolated shower Thursday afternoon, at least for areas well south of the interstate. This is thanks to a wave of more humid air spreading in from the southwest.
