Quinte Health’s new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital is slated for final completion in 2028 and represent a revolution in the area’s hospital care, staff said Tuesday.
Senior staff delivered a project update online, promoting the Picton building’s future benefits to patients, families, and medical professionals.
Also speaking were Dr. Noah Walman, a family doctor who also works in the hospital, and Shannon Coull, the executive director of the Prince Edward County Memorial Foundation.
“If we have to find ourselves needing care, this new hospital is where you’re going to want to be,” said Coull.
The foundation leads the Back the Build campaign to fund the $30-million public portion of the project.
