The former director of the Hammond INnovation Center is helping to organize the Silk Road Conference about business partnerships and trade opportunities with Asia.
Greg Boyland and the Central Asian Productivity Research Center are staging the 17th annual Silk Road Conference at 8 a.m. Friday at the Northern Illinois University NIU Outreach Conference Center at 1120 E. Diehl Road in Naperville.
"We support bilateral business and educational opportunities in the Central Asia region. Each year we have our annual Silk Road Conference to discuss economic development and help to grow business partnerships," Boyland said.
