PEORIA, Ill (WMBD) -- Distillery labs was full of discussion around 9 a.m. on Tuesday to talk about the arts industry.

The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Arts Partners of Central Illinois in a roundtable to discuss cost-saving measures that could help small businesses in the arts industry.

"So one of the big things we've been hearing from our arts organizations is this challenge of the costs associated with employing people," said Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jessica Linder Gallo. "And so in an organization where you're constantly fundraising and many times grants don't cover personnel or that kind of overhead, that can be a real challenge."
