WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Wake Forest Tuesday evening, police said.

The victim's injuries are considered life-threatening, according to Wake Forest police.

Police said the incident is believed to be isolated with no danger to the public, but the investigation is ongoing.
