The 23-year-old man who was found to have videos of child pornography and bestiality was sentenced to prison.

On Sept. 4, District Judge Matthew Castano sentenced Jacob D. Hayes to five to seven years in prison for two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. This will run consecutive to a 234-day jail sentence — with credit for all 234 days served — for one count of bestiality and possession of marijuana.

Hayes was arrested on Jan. 13 after deputies suspected him of having and sending four videos with child porn through Kik, a messaging app.

Hayes had originally been charged with eight counts of sexual exploitation of a child — four counts for possessing the videos, and four counts for sending the videos to another user — as well as three counts of bestiality which stem from another v
