WATSON, La. (WAFB) - A boil water advisory has been issued for some people who call Watson home.

The advisory was issued by the Ward Two Water District for customers who live on Blades Drive, Cecil Drive, Olivia Drive, and Rodriguez Lane. Neighbors who live at the addresses of 34646, 34662, 34674, and 34690 on Highway 16 are also impacted.

Crews are working to make repairs to a water line on Cecil Drive in Watson, and water pressure will drop below the Louisiana Department of Health’s minimum standard during that time. As a result, the boil water advisory was issued.

People living in the impacted area are urged to disinfect their water before drinking it, and using it to make ice, brush their teeth, or prepare food. You should boil the water for a full minute in a clean container. Offic
