EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville hosted the Bridges Out of Poverty Event to help attendees have a better understanding of the realities of poverty.

According to organizers, the event focused on support systems, building relationships and mental health. Organizers said the event offered an approach to understanding what leads to poverty in the first place.
