ST. LOUIS - A high school baseball coach from Illinois is facing heavy accusations in regard to drug trafficking.
Court records say Demetrius Combs, 33, of Sauget, Illinois, was indicted in St. Louis’ U.S. District Court on Aug. 27 to these following charges: • 1X of distribution of fentanyl • 2X of distribution of methamphetamine • 1X of possession with intent to distribute in excess of 400 grams of fentanyl • 1X of possession with intent to distribute in excess of 500 grams of methamphetamine • 1X of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime
According to the federal indictment, Combs conducted these drug sales between June and August 2023.
