In a new video posted to Instagram , Governor Jeff Landry said he is working on a plan "in the coming days." Advertisement
Landry says he met with State Sen. Patrick Connick (R-Marrero) to discuss his request for a state investigation into bridge tolling.
In the video, Landry said the problems were "caused by Governor John Bel Edwards."
"I understand exactly what the problems are in Plaquemines Parish," Landry said. "[It] gives you the relief you need."
State lawmakers got involved this summer, approving a study of Geaux Pass.
On Sept. 25, Connick asked the attorney general to review fee structures and contracts and investigate billing and customer service practices.
