Seminole County Animal Services says it is facing serious overcrowding due to a large number of recent intakes.

On Facebook , Seminole County Animal Services said it is currently operating at 151% capacity, and all of its kennels are full, as well as other animals being in off-site boarding. Some pets are being housed in crates, with some having to be stacked atop others due to the overcrowding.

Seminole County Animal Services is offering free adoptions to help alleviate the crowding and pressure on the shelter.

More information about animals available for adoption and volunteer opportunities can be found on the Seminole County Animal Services website .
