PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Paradise Valley Unified School District voted Tuesday to place its superintendent, Dr. Todd Cummings, on paid administrative leave. Cummings officially started in the district on July 1 after being hired in April.
During the meeting, it was revealed that Dr. Dan Courson, the district’s current assistant superintendent for secondary leaders will serve as the interim superintendent.
The move to place Cummings on paid administrative leave comes after Arizona’s Family Investigates started looking into work at his previous district, the South Bend Community Schools Corporation, in Indiana.
