At least, Brock Purdy thinks so.
The 49ers quarterback, who complained of toe soreness after San Francisco's Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and is "questionable" for the prime-time "Thursday Night Football" matchup against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium might be a long shot to play, but is holding out hope that he can recover in time for such a quick turnaround.
"Tonight? No," Purdy said Tuesday when asked if he could play if the game were today. "But I have two days."
"If I can play this game, I'm going to play. Obviously, I want to get right and get healthy and everything, but we need to win this game against the Rams, so that's how I'm looking at it."
