BOSTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Trump administration has cut nearly $7,000,000 in public safety funding for Massachusetts communities.
The Department of Homeland Security said the previous total $22,200,000 from the Federal Homeland Security Grant Program is being lowered to $15,300,000.
Governor Maura Healey is now criticizing the trump administration for this move, saying: “President Trump and Secretary Noem just made every community in Massachusetts and in states across the country less safe.
