OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - Rotary club members and volunteers spent the day preparing meals for the Rotary Chicken BBQ- a community tradition that’s been bringing people together for decades.

Mitchell said the B-B-Q kicks off the week of Oktoberfest. Serving 2,500 meals with cars lined up and people dining in. The Rotary prides itself on “Service Above Self” and for longtime member Steve Campbell it’s about more than just grilling chicken.
