A baseball coach at Cahokia High School is facing several federal drug distribution charges as well as a gun charge.
Demetrius Combs, 33, is alleged to have sold fentanyl on one occasion and meth on two occasions between June and August of 2023 to an undercover officer with the St. Louis County Police Department.
In a search of his Bellefontaine Neighbors home, police found capsules containing fentanyl and $3,746 in cash. Between his home and his car, police found multiple firearms, five cellphones, more capsules containing fentanyl, thousands in cash, a pill press, fentanyl, meth and drug paraphernalia.
Court documents say one of the guns was equipped with a "switch" that converted it into a fully automatic weapon.
